Online School Payment (OSP) Procedures

Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) has implemented a pilot program at selected schools that will provide parents the flexibility to pay for students’ fees from the comfort of their homes through the new Online School Payment (OSP) system, which offers the capability to make online credit card payments directly to the school.

Parents can now log into the Miami-Dade County Public Schools website at www.dadeschools.net using their established credentials and click the Parent tab to reach the OSP link in order to access the online payment system. Please note that parents that do not currently have access to the Parent Portal can request access directly from their children’s schools. Once in the OSP system, parents can select the school from a drop down menu and be able to see all items available for online payment. Parents simply select the student for which the payment is being made from a drop down menu that only shows the students related to the parent or guardian and follow the prompts to enter the credit card number as it is normally done with any online web payment site.

Once payment is received electronically by the school, the student’s account will be credited, thus saving time and reducing the risk associated with cash transactions. We encourage parents to explore and use the OSP system, and provide any feedback to the school.
